US air strikes increase on ISIS positions in Kobani

Washington has increased its air strikes against Islamic State (ISIS) positions in the Syrian border city of Kobani. ISIS currently controls 40% of the city but intense fighting continues. Washington has apparently changed its mind on importance of preventing the ISIS from gaining control of Kobani. US President Barack Obama told defense chiefs from 20 allied countries that he was deeply concerned over IS advances in Iraq and Syria. teleSUR
