I also think its funny that in high school men, or at least I tried as hard as possible to make things as grammatically incorrect as possible around men, but around females I tried to sound as intelligent as possible. Around guys I would say things like "that's jokes man" but around females I would say things on the lines of "I thought it was quite humorous the way that you constructed your sentence in a way to make me laugh."
