A student at Cooper Academy in Fresno, California was often bullied by two classmates. His parents complained about the bullying to school administrators but the school reportedly did nothing.

After a bout of unwelcome teasing one week, the 12-year-old boy tearfully called his mom and stepmom from the school's bathroom and told them about the incident. That's when the boy's family decided to take matters into their own hands.

The family drove to Cooper Academy and the entourage walked into the school's cafeteria, where the boy pointed out the two girls who had been bullying him.

His mom and stepmom, ages 29 and 30, confronted the 12 and 13-year-old girls in front 100 witnesses in the cafeteria. The boy's 15-year-old sister may have then also hit one of the girls who later complained that her arm and head hurt. When school officials came to break up the altercation, the boy's sister shoved back or punched one of the school officials.

The boy was later arrested for conspiracy, while his sister and the mom and stepmom were arrested on suspicion of felony conspiracy and misdemeanor cruelty to a child.
