Ne prag te 100 vjetorit te pavarësisë, kryeministri Sali Berisha përsërit kërkesën për rishikimin e historisë se Shqipërisë. Ne aktivitetin e ditëve te albanologjisë, kreu i qeverise iu beri thirrje historianeve te rishkruajnë me vërtetësi çdo ngjarje historike te vendit. Por veç kësaj, Berisha u ndal edhe tek gjuha amtare. Sipas tij edhe shqipja duhet te çlirohet nga ndikimet komuniste, ti jepet me shume peshe ne shkolla madje te shtrihet edhe ne universitet. Ne fakt gjuhëtaret prej kohesh kane vene ne pah problemet e shqiptareve me gjuhen amtare, si ne te shkruar dhe ne te folur. Për specialistet e shqipes është e nevojshme qe gjuha amtare te hyje edhe ne universitet e veçanërisht ne lendet e mësuesisë. Por kur flitet për ndryshimin e standardit te shqipes, ide e hedhur kohet e fundit nga një grup gjuhëtaresh, eksperte te saj shprehen kategorikisht kundër. Sipas tyre shqipja mund te përmirësohet me elemente nga te dy dialektet por jo te ndryshohet. Kohet e fundit gjuhëtaret janë përfshire ne debate e diskutime për standardin e shqipes, ndërsa ndajnë te mjetin qëndrim kur flitet për hyrjen si lende me vete edhe ne universitet .Ne fakt gjuha amtare behet lende me vete vetëm ne arsimin baze, ndërsa ne gjimnaz, ajo është e shkrire me letërsinë.

On the eve of the 100 th anniversary of independence, Prime Minister Sali Berisha repeated request to review the history of Albania. In the days of albanologjisë activity, head of the government was urged historians to rewrite the historical truth of any country. But in addition, Berisha focused on mother tongue. According to him the Albanian should be freed from communist influences, be given more weight in the extended schools and even universities. In fact, linguists have long highlighted the problems of Albanians in their native language, as in writing and in speech. For the Albanian specialists is necessary to enter the native language, especially in university teaching subjects. But when it comes to changing the standard of the Albanian language, the idea put forward recently by a group of linguists, experts say categorically against it. According to them can improve the Albanian language with elements of both dialects but not changed. Recently, linguists have been involved in debates and discussions on standard Albanian, while the share of vehicle attitude when it comes to entry as a separate subject in the university. In fact, the native language itself becomes the only subject in basic education, while in high school, she is fused with the literature.
