Tamouz "The Orange Season Is Over" 1975 killer Israeli prog rock... masterpiece...! recommended.

This is a masterpiece. The best israeli album by far, and a good competitor for a place in the top 100 in my opinion (if only they sang in english!). For all you gentiles (just kiddin'), i would recommend to try and get a hold of this one.

Although basically they are a hard rock band, their album "The Orange Season is Over" still contained a good progressive track with long and complex instrumental passages. The track "The Deeper, The Bluer" was a significant contribution to non-progressive group in the canon of Israeli prog.
In early 1976, shortly after the album's release, Tamouz began a series of live concerts. They were unique new approach to the show, sound and light. All sound equipment was imported from Europe.
