Here you go the 5 best not obvious apps to use Chromecast:

TV not smart enough for you but don’t want to go out and by a new one? Well, Google’s Chromecast is here to help. This little dongle plugs into your old television to give it an IQ upgrade… or at least let you use it for some apps.
But while there are plenty of essential Chromecast apps out there, such as YouTube, Spotify, and Netflix, there are plenty of other less well-known must have apps, and here are 5 of our favorites.

One of the most interesting things about Chromecast is using it to mirror your mobile phone’s screen on your TV. To do this with Android is as easy, but on iPhone it is more complicated. Which is where AllCast comes in, an app that allows you to send all kinds of pictures and videos from your iOS device to your TV – ensuring no one can escape your dog pics. You can also listen to any music on the device and share files from Google+, Instagram, Dropbox, your media server, and Google Drive.

There are more and more Chromecast app that allow you to play games together with your friends on your television, and one of the best is Big Web Quiz. Developed by the creative team at Google, this is basically a pub quiz style game that allows six people to connect at a time. Questions appear on you TV screen, and using your phone you have to give your answers as quickly as possible. Getting the most points makes you the leader of your group, and provides bragging rights for the rest of the night – coz you are the greatest.

Another great app for Chromecast is CastPad. This one connects to your TV from your phone or tablet to show a blank page. You can then use your devices touch screen to draw whatever you fancy. The base app lets you draw shapes and lines, in a variety of colors, with the paid version providing even more options. It’s a small diversion while you are at home by yourself but its excellent for an impromptu game of Pictionary or to explain a difficult concept. You can even use it to help explain how the Panthers offensive line struggled against the Brocos’ defense.

There are ton games to play on your TV using your Chromecast. But few look as good as Ubisoft’s Driver. This game looks so good, honestly you are doing it a disservice by playing it on a smaller screen, so why not stream it to your tele for a full screen experience, and just use your phone as a controller – a dynamic that keeps your fingers well out of the way of the action. Now you can just sit back and enjoy this intense car chase game from the comfort of your couch.

The Chromecast is widely used to send exercise videos from your phone to your TV so you can more easily follow the direction. But exercise videos are boring, so we found you an alternative - FitFlap. Yes, as the name may suggest, this little exercise game takes its inspiration from the phenomenon Flappy Bird - the only difference is that you have to flap your arm to control your birds rise and fall. The app uses your phone’s camera to follow your movements, and - assuming you have the space – it works fantastically. Now wave your arms around like a lunatic to make your pig fly. There’s a sentence I didn’t think I would be saying when I arrived at the office this morning.

That’s if for another 5 apps, but, as always comment, like, share, or even dislike this video to let us know what you thought.

Next week I´ll be back with 5 Valentine’s day survival app – see you then.
