The Blaze and the Monster Machines app introduces preschoolers to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) concepts as they race along pre-set courses or build their own tracks!\r
\r
Each mode – race and build – encourages children to apply critical thinking skills and explore scientific principles, including acceleration, adhesion, force, traction and more!\r
\r
NEW: your child will be able to help Blaze & AJ compete on all-new tracks from around the globe when you purchase the Top of the World location. Race against Zeg and watch out for Crushers new obstacles like his tornado blaster and underpants launcher! Kids can build their very own Top of the World track too!\r
\r
GAME PLAY OPTION 1: RACE BLAZE & FRIENDS!\r
\r
Help Blaze & AJ compete against other monster trucks – Starla, Crusher, Stripes, and Zeg – in one of five locations: The Badlands, Top of the World, Dragon Island, The Snowy Slopes or The Monster Dome! Use blazing speed and problem-solving to overcome obstacles along the way. \r
\r
Each location in the game contains the following: \r
\r
• Environmental obstacles (e.g. an ice patch in the Snowy Slopes) and Crusher-based contraptions (e.g. a pineapple blaster).\r
• Power ups like tire chains (to avoid slippery spots), soapy tires (to fly through sticky patches), and hubcaps (to fill your Lets Blaze acceleration meter).\r
• 2 different driving controls – tilt and swipe.\r
• 15 levels that progress in difficulty (75 in total). \r
• Gold, silver or bronze medals awarded to each race.\r
\r
GAME PLAY OPTION 2: BUILD YOUR OWN TRACK (…THEN RACE!)\r
\r
Construct a race track with as many twists and turns as youd like! Add tools that can help Blaze advance (e.g. speed boosts, hubcaps), and include features that can cause his opponents to slow down (e.g. sticky bubble gum, slippery water puddle). \r
\r
• Draw a unique path for each race course!\r
• Experiment with up to 15 STEM items! \r
• Create and edit tracks along the way!\r
• Save up to 12 courses. \r
