Falling behind on beam welding production? Rework issues adding costs and delays? Could a modernized beam welding gantry system remove safety hazards in your shop? Introducing the LJ Beam Welding Gantry! LJ's new gantry welding system is used for automated high deposition structural steel beam welding. The operator's chair is located at the ground level, making it safer and easier to access than overhead seats, while still being able to see the weld. Dual independent torch control, with 84" servo vertical cross slides allow for a large range of automated weld seam tracking. LJ's HMI touch screen interface is compact and user friendly, and the override joystick activates by a human hand, making weld head adjustability easy with an added layer of safety. A weld camera system with laser pointers allow for viewing the weld location through monitors from the operator's chair. Submerged Arc (SAW) is most common process for high deposition welds. Typically ACDC-1000 or DC-1000 power sources running twin wire mode for maximum deposition and productivity. Consistent deposition rates of up to 52 lbs/hour can be achieved with dual weld head and twin wire set-up. You can minimize flux change overs with onboard 200lb, 400lb or 600lb flux delivery and recovery systems. Smooth, servo controlled track drive allows for fully automated welds of 125 ft (38 m) or more. LJ's beam welding gantries are fully customized to each customers' requirements. Get your high deposition rates, consistent quality welds and improve operator comfort & safety now in one affordable solution.
