The results of the Gujarat assembly elections have come. In the meanwhile, BJP may have won in Gujarat but it has not made much headway. Along with the Congress, Thakesh Thakor has won from the BJP candidate in Radhanpur constituency. He defeated BJP's Lovingji Thakore. Alappas got 77 thousand votes while BJP candidate got 63 thousand votes. Alpesh has emerged as leader of backward class in Gujarat. His image belongs to the social worker. About 50 per cent of voters come from backward classes in Gujarat. In this way leaders of this class are very important for any party.

गुजरात विधानसभा चुनावों के नतीजे आ गए है । वहीं इस बीच बीजेपी भले ही गुजरात में जीत गई हो लेकिन अच्छी खासी बढ़त नहीं बना पाई है । कांग्रेस से जुड़े अल्पेश ठाकोर राधनपुर निर्वाचन क्षेत्र में बीजेपी प्रत्याशी से जीत गए हैं. उन्होंने बीजेपी के लाविंगजी ठाकोर को हराया है. अल्पेश को 77 हजार जबकि बीजेपी प्रत्याशी को 63 हजार वोट मिले हैं. अल्पेश गुजरात में पिछड़ा वर्ग के नेता के तौर पर उभरे हैं. उनकी छवि सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता की है. गुजरात में करीब 50 फीसदी मतदाता पिछड़ा वर्ग से आते हैं. ऐसे में इस वर्ग के नेता किसी भी दल के लिए बहुत महत्वपूर्ण हैं.
