TDP MLA Balakrishna used unparliamentary language and switched to Hindi while slamming the PM in order to convey his message. He even called PM Modi a 'hijra' at one point and took a shot at Modi 'not taking care' of his wife and abandoning her.

In a scathing attack on Modi, Balakrishna said "Modiji, Andhra Pradesh is not Gujarat. Your hukumat (rule) doesn't work here. The Telugu people are courageous. They showed their power when the Congress government in Delhi tried to pull down NTR government in 1984."

"Not only are the people of Andhra but the entire India is against you right now. I am telling now that you are a gaddar (traitor), a namak haram (cheat). Come outside and meet people. Talk to them or they will chase you, beat you, wherever you go. You cannot escape even if you go and sit in a bunker," he added.

The BJP also urged Governor ESL Narasimhan to dismiss Balakrishna’s assembly membership. A BJP delegation led by the party’s floor leader in the assembly, P Vishnu Kumar Raju, submitted a memorandum to the governor, demanding Balakrishna’s ouster.

Raju later said, “What kind of language was he using? How dare he give a call to people to chase and beat the Prime Minister?

The statement by the Hindpur MLA comes even as three separate complaints were lodged against him at different police stations in Hyderabad.

While BJP MLC and Hyderabad president N Ramachander Rao filed a complaint at the Osmania University police station, Bharatiya Janata Party Yuva Morhca (BJYM) activists approached the Jubilee Hills police station. A private citizen lodged a third complaint at the Banjara Hills police station.

Following the speech, BJP MLA Vishnu Kumar, MLC PVN Madhav along with few leaders also met the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Governor ESL Narasimhan and submitted a memorandum asking him to dismiss Balakrishna from the post.
