In the killer heatwave we've had in the past couple of weeks, more than half of South Korea's weather stations saw the highest temperatures they've ever recorded, some over 40 degrees Celsius.
The Korea Meteorological Administration says on August 1st, the southeastern city of Busan and the port of Incheon had the hottest day since records began in 1904.
Some 26 other weather stations had their highest highs since they started keeping track in 1907.
The highest temperature South Korea's ever experienced was in the city of Hongcheon, Gangwon-do Province at 41 degrees.
It Seoul it got up to 39.6 -- also an all-time high.
The heat has led to 35 deaths so far, and has caused heat-related symptoms in thousands.
Thankfully today is forecast to be the end of the heatwave, but it'll still get up to the mid-thirties.
