The Indian contingent is back from the Asian Games with a record medal haul. 69 medals in total - 15 of them Gold - tying the record gold haul of the 1951 Games. While we celebrate the achievements of our athletes, sometimes in the noise of glory, the real stories and struggles behind these triumphs are lost. We at Hindustan Times will talk about five such athletes, who made India proud at the Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang, despite facing several odds.
