WASHINGTON: Deputy Spokesperson, US State Department Robert Palladino, has stressed the need for Islamabad to build confidence in bilateral relations, ARY News reported on Friday.
Speaking to reporters in Washington, Palladino emphasized the need for Pakistan to deliver outcome and build confidence and trust between our two countries, and “our policy towards Pakistan is clear.”
He hailed Pakistan decision of opening Kartarpur corridor, terming it a big step towards confidence building between India and Pakistan.
He said Pakistan’s efforts to increase contact between peoples of the two countries are commendable.
Palladino said normalization of relations between Pakistan and India is vital to both countries and the region.
