According to a report by SFGate, Aquaman has served as a sort of soft reboot for the cinematic DC universe, with a brilliant color palette and a weirdness that was absent from the older Zack Snyder-driven DC Extended Universe. The Wrap reports that the James Wan-directed “Aquaman” also throws in a mid-credits extra scene, a popular trend in Marvel movies that almost all of the DC-films have skipped on.
