Railway Minister Piyush Goyal lauded India's engineering talent while referring to Train 18. Goyal, while onboard, said the train is a result of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision. Work for the construction of this train started around two years ago and India has proved its engineering talent, Goyal added. Train 18 or Vande Bharat Express was inaugurated by PM Modi on 15 February from New Delhi. It is a semi-high speed train which undertook its first journey between New Delhi and Varanasi.
