In a night of surprises as Liverpool was stunned by lowly Bolton Wanderers while Chelsea was held by Norwich City. Liverpool was stunned 3-1 by Bolton. Whereas striker Fernando Torres endured another miserable day as the Blues only earned a point against Norwich city to further damage their slim title hopes. Torres went close with a first-half shot but toe-poked a glorious chance wastefully wide as the Blues dominated the second period but failed to score.
