Supreme Court has commuted the death sentence of Devender Pal Singh Bhullar's to life imprisonment. Bhullar was convicted in 1993 Delhi bomb blasts. SC has accepted the curative plea of Bhullar. In the view of mental illness of the convict and inordinate delay, Supreme Court has granted him life imprisonment instead of death sentence. The court has been waiting for Centre to review the fresh petition filed by Bhullar's wife in the case.
