The big day is here. Polling to elect India's 13th President will begin in Parliament House and all state Vidhan Sabhas hours from now, with MPs and MLAs to cast their vote respectively. And the fight, well it seems almost a contest for the sake of it. Former Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee leads head and shoulders over his rival P A Sangma, in terms of parties that will back him.
