Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and vice-president Rahul Gandhi are likely to tender their resignations from their posts after their party was crushed in the Lok Sabha elections, said sources in the party. Sonia Gandhi and her son had accepted responsibility of the defeat after the party was reduced to 44 seats.
