Election Verdict 2019: NDA crosses 300 mark in early trends

Within a couple of hours of vote counting, BJP led NDA has already crossed 300 seats. In Uttar Pradesh, one of the key states, trends show that Rahul Gandhi is trailing in Amethi, with Smriti Irani taking the lead. Sonia Gandhi is leading from Raebareli. Rajnath Singh leading from Lucknow. Amit Shah is leading by over 65,000 votes in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. In Madhya Pradesh, BJP is leading with the exception of Pragya Thakur, who is trailing from Bhopal. In Delhi, early trends place BJP in lead with all 7 seats from the capital state. In West Bengal, TMC leads with 20 seats.
