Audien and Sydney from Echosmith are in the Hollywire studio! We play "Finish the Lyric" with them and talk their new collab "Favorite Sound". Audien was on the hunt for his next song - the second heard the vocals he got to work on the song. Sydney and Audien actually didn't even meet until a press day for the finished project. Sydney sheds some light on why the song is so special to her. Audien talks about the concept of the music video and working with music video director Drew Kirsch.

Who would've thought that pairing an indie rock band and a EDM DJ, could make something so beautiful? That is exactly what happened when meshing these two artists together to make hit song “Favorite Sound.” Mixing two different genres might seem like crazy idea, but luckily the two masters of their own craft created something beautiful. “Favorite Sound” has the vocals of an alternative song with the melody of an amazing EDM track, and we can’t get enough. The sibling band Echosmith, has made their mark with this song, hopefully reaching new audiences by the dozen with their entrancing collab with Audien. We can only hope for another collab in the future.
