'Navratri' is a Sanskrit translation to 'the nine auspicious nights' dedicated to nine forms of Goddess Durga. This festival is celebrated with much enthusiasm in Northern, East and West parts of Indian Sub-Continent. These nine days the 'Nav Durga' or the nine forms of Durga are worshipped, revered and celebrated.
