Right Connyoung, Beijing is set to throw a huge celebration to commemorate seven decades of Communist power.
Various events from citizen parades to fireworks are expected to keep the festive mode,...but the highlight will be the massive military parade through central Beijing and Tiananmen Square.
In front of officials, select members of the public, and 188 military attaches from 97 countries, China will show off more than 160 aircraft and 580 pieces of weaponry and equipment.
As part of celebrations last Sunday, Chinese leader Xi Jinping presented medals to 'heroes' and foreign 'friends' at a ceremony.
