During a press conference in Ankara, Turkey, U.S. Vice President Mike Pence announced that the United States has convinced Turkey to agree to a ceasefire in Syria. Turkish troops will withdraw and military operations will cease for the next 120 hours, and the two countries "have both mutually committed to a peaceful resolution and future for the safe zone," Pence said.
