Ellen DeGeneres and Sandra Bullock recently joined forced in an
attempt to “expose the Celebrity Endorsement Theft Industry.”.
They are reportedly seeking an injunction
and compensatory damage on the grounds
of false advertising and unfair competition.
According to the ’Hollywood Reporter,’ the duo’s
complaint is specifically against fake affiliate
marketers that use their likeness to sell products. .
DeGeneres and Bullock claim
that their names and images are
being used to endorse products
without their authorization.
Publications on the fake media sites
feature comments and endorsements
purportedly from Bullock and DeGeneres
— all of which are fake and fraudulent and
published without Plaintiffs' consent, via ‘Hollywood Reporter’.
They believe they are specifically being used in
these marketing scams because of their “unimpeachable
reputation[s] for honesty” and “youthful” looks. .
Because of their age, their unimpeachable

look, which con artists believe will attract
and dupe unwitting customers, via ‘Today’.
Fake endorsements such as these have reportedly
cost victims more than $1.3 billion in the last
decade, according to the Better Business Bureau
