भारतीय क्रिकेट टीम की मौजूदा सीरीज भले ही रद हो गई मगर एक बार टीम इंडिया को भी खाली स्टेडियम में मैच खेलना पड़ा था। यह हुआ था 21 साल पहले। उस वक्त किसी महामारी की वजह से नहीं बल्कि दर्शकों की अराजकता के चलते स्टेडियम खाली करवाया गया था।ग्राउंड स्टॉफ और पुलिस ने स्टेडियम खाली कराकर मैच पूरा कराया था।
