Kings XI Punjab secured an easy victory over the Royal Challengers Bangalore on September 24 in the ongoing IPL season in UAE. KXIP defeated the RCB by 97 runs on the back of first century of this season by KL Rahul who scored 132 runs off 69 deliveries and remained not out.

केएल राहुल ने आईपीएल में भारतीय खिलाड़ियों में बेस्ट स्कोर का रिकॉर्ड बनाया लेकिन किंग्स इलेवन पंजाब के कप्तान ने गुरुवार को कहा कि आरसीबी के खिलाफ मैच से पहले वह अपनी बल्लेबाजी को लेकर बहुत आश्वस्त नहीं थे। राहुल ने नाबाद 132 रन बनाए जिससे किंग्स इलेवन ने पहले बल्लेबाजी का न्योता मिलने पर तीन विकेट पर 206 रन बनाए और फिर आरसीबी की टीम 17 ओवर में 109 रन पर आउट करके 97 रन से बड़ी जीत दर्ज की।
