More than 400 people in South Korea have been given flu shots that were mishandled during the storing process,... but fortunately, no side effects have been reported.
According to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency on Sunday,... 407 people received vaccines that were not supposed to be administered after they were stored at room temperature.
The latest figure marked a hike from Saturday,... when the agency reported 324 people.
Experts say the exposure to room temperature could result in decreased vaccine potency and increase the risk of vaccine-preventable diseases,... but that has yet to be determined.
