Health experts project daily COVID-19 cases to hit over 200,000 in U.S

COVID-19 cases in the U.S. hit the 10-million mark on Monday, after reporting over 100-thousand daily cases for seven straight days.
The alarming number is expected to further increase with new daily cases reaching over 200-thousand in the coming weeks.
This is according to Michael Osterholm, a member of President-elect Joe Biden's Transition Covid-19 Advisory Board.
The death toll is also expected to rise dramatically, as experts say another one-hundred and 10-thousand deaths are projected in the following two months.
According to a tally from Johns Hopkins University, the current death toll stands at 238-thousand.
