Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi, who has appointed as the captain of Galle Gladiators, missed his flight to Colombo on Monday morning and as a result is in danger of missing his side’s opening match of the LPL.There is no clarity as to when Afridi might land in Sri Lanka but whenever he does, he will have to undergo the mandatory quarantine period.

पाकिस्तान के पूर्व क्रिकेटर शाहिद अफरीदी की सोमवार को श्रीलंका की फ्लाइट छूट गई। इसके चलते वह लंका प्रीमियर लीग में अपने फ्रेंचाइजी गॉल ग्लैडिएटर्स के पहले दो मैचों के लिए अनुपलब्ध रहेंगे। उन्होंने खुद ट्वीट करके इसकी जानकारी दी। इसके चलते टूर्नामेंट के आयोजकों की दिक्कतें बढ़ गई हैं, क्योंकि पहले ही कई खिलाड़ी टूर्नामेंट से अपना नाम वापस ले चुके हैं। अफरीदी ने ट्वीट करके कहा, 'आज सुबह कोलंबो के लिए मेरी फ्लाइट छूट गई। चिंता की कोई बात नहीं, मैं जल्द ही गाल ग्लैडिएटर्स के लिए एलपीएल में हिस्सा लेने के लिए पहुंचूंगा। साथियों के साथ जुड़ने को तैयार हूं।
