After Diljit Dosanjh, several Bollywood celebrities are coming forward in support of protesting farmers. The recent addition to the list is Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor and her husband Anand Ahuja. The couple took to their Instagram handles and shared pictures of the protesting farmers. Along with the pictures, Sonam quoted Daniel Webster. She used the quote, "When tillage begins, other arts follow. The farmers, therefore, are the founders of human civilization." Whereas, Anand shared photos from the protest without a caption.

नए कृषि बिलों के खिलाफ किसानों को केवल पंजाबी फिल्म इंडस्ट्री से ही नहीं बल्कि बॉलीवुड से भी फुल सपोर्ट मिल रहा है। बिलों के विरोध में भारत बंद का ऐलान कर चुके किसान संगठनो को दिलजीत दोसांझ, एमी विर्क, जसबीर जस्सी, प्रियंका चोपड़ा, रितेश देशमुख, सोनू सूद, जैसे बड़े नामों ने किसानों का समर्थन किया। सभी का कहना है कि केंद्र सरकार किसानों की बात सुने। अब एक्ट्रेस सोनम कपूर और उनके पति आनंद आहूजा भी किसानों के समर्थन में सामने आए है।
