Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra believes that the Virat Kohli-led unit should play a combination of three pacers and two spinners in the Test series against England. India played both R Ashwin and Jadeja in the World Test Championship final against New Zealand but the move backfired as the spinners barely came into play thanks to the inclement Southampton weather.

Chopra ने कहा कि, तेज गेंदबाज के तौर पर टीम में जसप्रीत बुमराह, इशांत शर्मा व मो. शमी होने चाहिए तो वहीं Ashwin and Jadeja बतौर स्पिनर टीम में हों। उन्होंने कहा कि, इंग्लिश समर के दूसरे हाफ में गेंद में टर्न भी होती है और गेंद ग्रिप भी होती है।नॉटिंघम में खेले जाने वाले पहले टेस्ट में शायद Team India चार गेंदबाजों के साथ मैदान पर उतर सकती है, लेकिन इसके बाद के चारटेस्ट मैचों में टीम को पांच गेंदबाजों के साथ उतरना चाहिए। आपको बता दें कि, India vs England के बीच पांच मैचों की टेस्ट सीरीजकी शुरुआत 4 अगस्त से होगी।
