Sourav Ganguly, the current President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India and former captain of Team India, has always emphasized that former India cricketers can help take the game further by coming into the system. As BCCI head, he persuaded Rahul Dravid to become the head coach of Team India. Apart from this, he is now keen to make VVS Laxman the head of the National Cricket Academy.
