'Christian Erwin's emotions got out of control when he saw his girlfriend, Lizzy for the first time in six months.

This footage shows the moment the said reunion took place. Struggling to control his excitement, the subject gets a little too carried away and accidentally performs a takedown on his partner.

"Lizzy surprised me after we had been apart for six months," Christian told us. "I was in school in Hawaii and doing mission work in Costa Rica, and I finally made it home (Ontario, Canada) on March 12.

"She led me to believe I needed to go and pick her up the next day in North Carolina, but she was secretly home and had planned it months before! Needless to say, I was shocked and ran at her, and then the tackle happened... wild!"
