Aamir Khan was making Lal Singh Chaddha movie for many years. This was his much awaited movie. But due to Kovid-19, this movie got delayed and finally the film was released on 11 August 2022.

Apart from Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Naga Chaitanya and Mona Singh have been seen in the movie. Advait Chandan is the director of the Laal Singh Chaddha movie. He also worked for Aamir Khan's movie Secret Superstar in 2017.

90% of this film is shoot on outdoor location. In which there are some scenes from Kerala, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Srinagar, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Punjab and Mumbai. This film has been shoot in 100 different different locations in India
