कार्तिक माह के शुक्ल पक्ष की एकादशी को देव उठनी एकादशी के नाम से जाना जाता है. देव उठनी एकादशी के दिन भगवान विष्णु 4 माह के बाद निद्रा योग से जागते हैं और अपना कार्यभर संभालते हैं. इस दिन तुलसी जी का विवाह भगवान शालीग्राम से किया जाता है. ऐसे में तुलसी विवाह के दौरान तुलसी जी पर ये कुछ जरूरी चीजें अर्पित करने से जीवनभर मां लक्ष्मी की कृपा बनी रहेगी.
