Typhoon Jenny (international name: Koinu) further weakened as it is now outside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR), said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Thursday, Oct. 5.

In its 5 p.m. bulletin, PAGASA said typhoon Jenny has maximum sustained winds of 140 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gusts of up to 170 kph, moving westward at 15 kph. (Video Courtesy of DOST-PAGASA)
