An Israeli woman has made a desperate plea for help for her 85-year-old grandmother who has been captured and taken to Gaza by Hamas terrorists.

The woman, Adva Adar, wrote on Facebook that her grandmother, Yaffa Adar, was captured on Saturday during a surprise attack by Hamas terrorists. She said that her grandmother is in severe pain and is without medication, food, or water.

Adar criticized the Israeli government for not doing enough to rescue the captured Israelis. She said that she wished the government "would not sleep at night and turn over every piece of land until these people get home."

The Israeli security cabinet officially declared war on Hamas on Sunday. The war is the first since the 1973 Yom Kippur War.
