Umno and Barisan Nasional are open to maintaining the current political setup as long as it ensures national stability, said Deputy Prime Minister and Umno president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi at a Hari Raya open house in Putrajaya on Saturday.
He said this when he was asked about Pakatan Harapan's recent call to allow Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to continue as Prime Minister for a second term and the strength of cooperation between Umno and PKR at present.
