China's super-rich are making their way to the annual Guangzhou Auto Show... where some of the world's most expensive cars are making their debut. But even if you don't have hundreds of thousands of dollars for these automobiles... they're still quite a sight to behold.

For China's ultra rich, forget the likes of BMW or Mercedes, today's millionaires need more exclusive fare—Bentleys, Maybachs, and Rolls-Royce.

These ultra luxury cars were lined up at the annual Guangzhou Auto Show, ready for inspection by Mainland buyers.

The star of this year's show is a special Year of the Dragon Rolls Royce. The firm's Bespoke division debuted the Phantom at the Guangzhou Auto Show.

Rolls-Royce prepared eight Phantom models that the firm's manager says were designed specifically to meet the requirements of Chinese customers.

[Thomas Jefferson, Bespoke Manager, Rolls-Royce]:
"They would like to have a car that perhaps the exterior is understated, but they want the interior to have hand-crafted fine detailed elements that demonstrate craftsmanship."

In China, with the added luxury tax, these chauffeur-driven cars can cost nearly three times as much as in the US.

British carmaker Bentley is making just 10 hand-assembled sedans meant only for China.

[Richard Leopold, Brand Director, Bentley China]:
"The reason we do the exclusive limited editions is because that's exactly what the Chinese like. They like to have something built for them, that is very specific."

The 2011 Guangzhou Auto Show comes at a critical time for the Chinese car market, which after years of explosive expansion has seen signs of slowing growth.
