Russians using ambulances to avoid traffic jams.

Taxi services in Russia are using ambulance like limousines to cruise through traffic jams.

People are desperate to get through Moscow traffic, but the service is only affordable for the city’s wealthy citizens.

Police in Moscow pulled over an ambulance that was driving illegally, and upon inspection found that the interior was upholstered like a luxury limo.

According to law enforcement: “The driver appeared strange, and did not resemble an ambulance driver at all” and the passengers were “not medical personnel but some people in civilian clothes who refused to identify themselves.”

Police have been on the look out for suspicious vehicles, since companies have been advertising on the internet for the ambulance taxi service, which costs more than 200 dollars an hour.

Meanwhile, in an effort to prevent traffic jams, rather than causing a traffic gridlock with a long security motorcade, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin is traveling by helicopter when he has to get to the Kremlin in Moscow.
