Writing has always been one of his greatest pass-times. An adventurer at heart, when he is not working or writing, he enjoys painting, gold prospecting, rock hounding, gardening, and firearms. He is married and father of five. Michael's bout with cancer and the aggressive chemo-therapy that followed, allowed him the opportunity to work on his novel, Mysterious Encounter.
