Instrumentation <br />Dee Jay/Producer/Turntablist <br /><br />Short Biography <br />Dj’s are similar to rappers in a sense that they have to be extraordinary in their talents to be recognized. They have to have the ability to identify, control and relate to the crowd that they’re performing for. Dj Asiatic is not only a Dj that has that quality, but he has developed that quality at an age where most Dj’s are still learning how turntables work. As a young Dj growing up in Central Illinois, Asiatic was able to get involved with all elements of Hip Hop and spin in clubs from Champaign to Chicago drawing crowds at record numbers. <br /><br />This young B-Boy who was also known for producing and doing mixtapes for neighborhood friends became popular because of his energetic shows, in fact, his popularity grew so much that he started spinning at Campus events when he wasn’t even old enough to get in, this catapulted his status as the most interesting Dj out the Midwest. There was a time in this young Dj’s career where he would actually jump off his turntables to breakdance with his guest without losing focus of what he was there for. <br /><br />When it comes to the complete package of turntablism, not many are worthy of such praise, but for a Dj who has spinned everything from house to hip hop and won numerous Dj battles, its safe to say that Dj Asiatic is a Dj of extraordinary talents, and he is the complete package.
