Hi, my name is Scott and welcome to Winegazer, my blog about wine, food, travel, and life. I started this blog to share my love and passion for wine and food with the rest of the world, or with whomever may be listening at the moment. I didn’t grow up in a cool wine town like Napa or Sonoma, my life lessons transpired in the city of Los Angeles. I wasn’t raised by a family of winemakers, wine advocates, or even wine drinkers. In fact, my parents didn’t drink at all. I didn’t discover wine until I was in my late twenties when me and some of my friends would get together, usually for some BBQ’d fare, and enjoy some Woodbridge Merlot or a Rodney Strong Pinot Noir. What I did discover however was that this beverage had an incredible way of bringing people together, starting conversations, and just making life more interesting. My goal is to teach, entertain, challenge, and stimulate minds about wine and food.
