AMJAD KHAN <br /> <br />Amjad Khan is a man of expressions, a seasoned actor, an original artist. Amjad khan got his first break in 1994, when famous Tv actor Tariq Khan (late) offered him a role in a drama “Mr. Bhola”, which was being staged at Jalal Baba Auditorium, Abbottabad. His performance was much appreciated. <br />After the first successful project Amjad Khan has been a part of various small and big budget projects. Amjad Khan did less as compared to his talent and potential but whatever he did, he gave his best. In year 2000, Amjad Khan got a chance to be a part of the internationally renowned theatre “Ajoka” and “Ajoka Productions”. Amjad Khan regards Madiha Gohar of Ajoka theatre and the famous writer, director Shahid Mehmood Nadeem as his mentors. At Ajoka, Amjad did many plays as an actor and production manager. <br />Amjad Khan is the only actor from KPK who has earnt the “Outstanding Performance Award” from India twice in the years 2004 and 2005. He is the only artist from KPK to participate as an actor in the world punjabi conferenc, held in Chandigarh, India in 2004. He was lucky enough to represent KPK for the first time in SAARC Conference, held in Inslamabad in 2004, to be a part of the NSD Theatre Festival held from 20th March to 18th April, 2004 in New Delhi, India and to perform in a show at ICCR Universe of Culture, Kamani Auditorium, New Delhi, India from 19th to 21st January, 2004. Amjad khan performed in 15 cities of India in 2004. In the same year Amjad Khan expressed his love with his homeland Hazara by producing the first ever Hindko telefilm “Rat Jandre Te”, and so he laid the foundation of Hindko Telefilm Industry. <br />Amjad khan brought all the artists of Hazara under one platform and founded Hazara Production. The aim of this Production house was to promote the laneguage and culture of hazara.
