iERA offers a range of volunteering opportunities for those who wish to take part in dawah (the preaching of Islam). These can differ in their nature, but the three most commonly adopted volunteer types are explained below: <br /> <br />1. iERA Core volunteers: These volunteers must be prepared to donate at least 10 hours of their week on a regular basis, and are responsible for a wide range of duties including social media, fundraising, administration and PR. <br /> <br />2. Local dawah team volunteers: iERA encourages applications to this role from Muslims with all manner (or lack) of dawah training. The position requires applicants to donate at least 3 hours of their time each week, and iERA places them within regional teams geared towards upcoming projects. <br /> <br />3. iERA helpers: These are usually professionals who feel they potentially have a lot to offer a great cause, but are tied to a busy schedule and need advance warning of upcoming volunteer opportunities. iERA is happy to add such individuals to its database and contact them in advance of projects they might be able to help out with.
