Educated at The Nicholson Institute in Scotland, Murdo Macleay continued his education at Glasgow University, where he achieved a BAcc in Accountancy, followed by an MSc in Information Technology. Since 2008, Macleay has held ACCA accreditation and he currently works as a Finance Controller with Maynard & Harris Plastics. <br /><br />In his role with Maynard & Harris Plastics, Macleay is responsible for internal and external reporting, as well as providing strategic advice and in-depth analytics. The company is one of the largest bottle manufacturers in the UK, with an estimated revenue of £120 million. <br /><br />Macleay has strong experience in the role of Finance Controller, having gained previous experience during his tenure at Clays Ltd. As Finance Controller at Clays Ltd Macleay managed the complete financial function of the UK’s largest book printer, which at the time had a £70 million turnover and more than 700 employees.
