Phin is a published author who has written for numerous papers. In addition to writing, he has edited three books. In 2002, he edited a book of interviews published by Routledge Press titled "Philosophers in Conversation." It became an academic best seller and has been translated into Mandarin. In 2008, he edited the book of essays, "The Space for Love and Garbage." In 2009, he edited "All We Need is a Paradigm." <br />Phin invests for a family office/ hedge fund in San Francisco. Phin Upham holds a degree in philosophy from Harvard University and studied at Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Previously, Phin worked at Morgan Stanley. Phin volunteers his time to various efforts and sits on the board of the University of the Pennsylvania Museum of Archeology and Anthropology's Young Friends. He is a Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations.
