BIO: Writer Director Producer RICK L. WINTERS <br />Rick L. Winters broke into filmmaking in the fall of 2000 with his experimental short Greenleaf, a zero-budget film that combines fiction and documentary in order to capture the colorful Seattle counter-culture. Since then, he went on to fully produce three shorts, Passion, Mystical tea & Methamphetamines. Rick’s went on to learn the fine art of filmmaking by writing, directing, & producing a thesis experimental feature film “CONFESSIONS OF A HITMAN”. <br />Rick's first narrative feature film titled "THE EVADING" was release on September 11th 2007; Rick also wrote directed and produced his first feature length documentary on homelessness in America titled "SIGNS OF THE TIME" has just wrapped post production and is starting film festival submissions process. Post production is in full swing on his second narrative feature film titled “BLANK” an intense psycho thriller. His third feature film “CIRCLE OF VIOLENCE” has just started pre production and he is in the final development stages for his fourth narrative feature film titled "JACK & JILL the movie" a dark comedy psychotic thriller. <br />Mr. Winters makes his home in Seattle Washington and is very proud to be a member of the film community therein and plans to shoot most of his films right here in Seattle. He was the Director of the video production for the Oscar party sanctioned by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences benefiting the Children's Satrlight Starbright foundation in Seattle, WA.
