My name is Keith Zasowski and I am the owner of Insane Apparel. You’ve seen our work, you know we do screen printing, embroidery and make some of the hippest, edgiest coolest stuff you’ll ever imagine. We love our customers and we love what we do. <br /> <br />When Long Island got hit by a freak flash flood on August 13th 2014, it knocked us for a loop. It was over 12 inches of rainfall in a 24 hour period. Our shop was flooded with more than 90,000 gallons of water, which leftour inventory destroyed and machines rendered useless. My insurance won’t cover the loss because we are not in a “Flood Zone”. FEMA hasn’t been heard <br />from and nothing from New York State. <br /> <br />Since Kickstarter began in 2009 this crowd-funding website has continually proved it’s credibility. With successful campaigns and the amount of backers growing, a worldwide community working together is our greatest hope to raising the funds needed to overcome this catastrophe. <br /> <br />My Company, Insane Apparel has a goal to raise $50,000 in working capital from backers at Kickstarter.com <br />The new dollars would get our equipment up and running, allow us to buy inventory and take us back to where we were pre-storm. With your help, a 12 hour freak flash flood will not erase 12 years of business.
